My husband and I stayed here for one night during our honeymoon. Our host was so friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were very cute and ours had a great view of the port. Great spot to stay.
Lovely place and very friendly helpful staff. Beautiful setting right on the waterfront by the ferries. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered. Would definitely stay there again. A real time capsule.
Fantastic experience! Robert is a wonderful innkeeper, and quite welcoming. I found the sounds of the ferries and trucks to be rhythmically soothing. The location is perfect, with the port in front of the hotel and the White Cliffs at the rear.
I liked this place. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms comfortable, and the view was spectacular. Very easy access to the ferry and not to far from several pubs. The owner is a great guy as well.
Great location in Dover! The hotel is at the foot of the cliffs and about a 25 minute walk to the castle. The manager, Robert, is extremely friendly and accommodating, and his dinner recommendations were excellent! He goes out of his way to make sure everything is enjoyable for you, and there's a delicious free breakfast! The building is older and there are lots of stairs, but it's full of charm. Definitely recommend!
