The rudest person I have ever spoken to, my friend was staying at this hotel and was mugged a few days ago, taking his mobile phone, I was incredibly polite explaining I wanted to trace a friend who checked in a few day ago from Glasgow (cant be that hard - plus it is the law to keep a trace of every guest) He told me in a thick East European accent that "everybody has mobile phone these day - I do not know this person and hung up on me! " I then went to the hotel and he was even ruder, I he had a white vet on covered in holes, I would avoid this place like the plauge
Don't be mislead by the numerous fake reasonable reviews on here, this seems to be the norm currently. The place was disgusting, the attitude of the proprietor was inexplicable and all apparently justifiable because it is the lowest price in the area. DONT GET FOOLED FOR A 5 SAVING!!! You can do much better.
Don't bother. The old bloke won't even answer the door and when he finally does after twenty minutes of knocking and ringing, he gets mad that you're inquiring about vacancy as the two of you stand at either ends of a sign that says vacancies. Get a bed up the street instead. If it's the off season, it's probably a better price anyway
It was a nice stay, but rooms are very small. Nice staff and breakfast was okay. Wouldn't check in for more than one night.
We booked in on a working stay . The place is definitely not a 3 star. The bedding was dirty with loads of hair still in them. We didn't even put our bags down, walked out , lost our booking money and booked somewhere else.God only knows what the food is like there.
