Tried Virsa on recommendation only can say Thanks Stevo this place is amazing food was bang on all the flavours were exceptional, great service, lovely decor. Even though they were so busy (it was packed house)they still served us very quickly. Whoever is in that kitchen handling it hats off to them. Excellent guys we will be back again.
Great restaurant. Really good food and kind staff. Would also recommend for takeaways. Always up to standard.
Last night was my first and last time attempting to use Virsa "The Heritage", I can't comment on the quality of the food - as I ended up going elsewhere.At 18:50 I called and ordered a delivery, I was told it would be delivered in 'around 50 minutes'. At 20:30, an hour and forty minutes after ordering (and twice the estimated delivery time), I eventually got through on the phone to ask if there was a problem / if my order was on it's way. I was told it was en route but no mention of a reason for the delay, and the person on the phone couldn't give any idea of how much longer it would be.Another 20 minutes passed, now 2 hours since I originally ordered and I'd now tired of waiting, so I called to cancel my order and say not to bother delivering. The lady on the phone just kept repeating 'he's on his way, he's on his way' and didn't really want to accept my cancellation, but eventually closed with 'I'll have to call the driver and inform him'.Off to the chip shop I go... Lo and behold, at 21:35 the door bell rings, and a lady is stood holding a bag of food and asks 'are you still waiting for a takeaway?'.So much for it being on it's way at 20:30, and 'HE's on his way, HE's on his way' at 20:50!I declined.Oh, and to conclude - not a single explanation or apology!
I have had Indian meals all over the country and even overseas and i have got to say that this is the best Indian restaurant i have had the pleasure to eat in. Immaculately clean, wonderful service with a smile and the food is absolutely brilliant. If there was 10 stars it would get all of them. Thank you for a superb taste of pure Indian cuisine
