Absolutely fabulous restaurant in the heart of Dover. The food was excellent, large portions and we had a warm friendly Italian welcome. Too busy enjoying our food to take pictures! At the end of the evening the head chef (wonderful old lady) came out to greet us and check we had a lovely evening. Brilliant and highly recommended!
By far one of the most amazing foods ever. The place is so welcoming the food is so amazing good for the price will be 100000% going back you should be proud of yourselfs
I can't imagine a more authentic little Italian restaurant around this part of the Kent coastline. Service is patient and friendly and the menu has a large selection of both standard and more unique traditional Italian dishes. The food is fantastic with great flavour and large portions reasonably priced. The head chef is a lovely Italian Grandma who came into the restaurant to ask if we enjoyed the food. This lady can really create amazing Italian home cooking across a really large menu, every pasta, pizza and meat dish was beautifully cooked Italian heritage. Highly recommended.
This is a fantastic little family run restaurant in Dover. It looks closed from the outside, but when we went in we were very warmly welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, even the cappuccinos were something special. We will definitely be returning!
Dover's hidden gem of a restaurant. This place is all about the food and if your lucky "mama" will come to your table for a chat if she is able to leave the kitchen.This is not a themed restaurant, it's not about pretentious decor; it's all about the food. Simple traditional setting with a small bar area should you have to wait. But in return you experience Italian traditional dining in the corner of Kent. I almost did not want to post a review due to the risk of not being able to get a table in the future, but that would be selfish.Ironically our European neighbours travelling via Dover seem to have discovered this over the locals as the restaurant is very popular with those travelling via the port. We booked ahead as the restaurant is only small. As it's family run don't expect fast food, it's a very relaxed experience with a well paced service.Well worth a visit or two, to this little unassuming restaurant in Dover.
