Lovely, unspoilt place, tucked away beneath the White Cliffs of Dover. Short circular walk, suitable for young families as well as pushchairs. Sheep and cattle roaming so dogs have to be managed well. Pebble beach at far end of walk. Information centre and small cafe for refreshments. Parking 50p for up to 30mins, 1 for an hour, 2 for the whole day (our visit was Jan 2019). Interesting history too - worth a visit :-)

What a beautiful place to have a walk ,this country park was made from all the chalk and rubble from digging the Euro tunnel . The amount of material deposited here gave the the UK and extra 89 arcers of land mass . She we visited there is a fenced of portion where cows and sheep roam(dogs to be kept on the lead in this part ) then once you've walked through the grass land you come to the beach which you can walk along . There is a visitor information area and cafe lofted at the car park, car park was 1 for two hours (Oct2018).

My husband and I found this little known gem about month ago. It is just of the A20 less than five minutes from the Port of Dover. At the site is a nature reserve with a number of different walks available. There is also fishing (you need to pay a fee for this). And as well as toilets there is a cafe selling teas and coffees etc. Yes you have to pay for parking but it is not expensive.

Well where do I start .To say the service is poor is probably a compliment .Two customer's in front of me...First customer asks for a coffee. 8 minutes later his coffee arrives .Second customer asks for two coffees a bottle of coke and two toasted buns .All was okay until the buns went on ..The electricity cut out .. to my total shock , and if the electric was on so would the owners, he proceeded to poke around in the electric toaster with a carving knife .After waiting 20 minutes , and losing the will to live my wife and myself decided to give it a miss and leave !!!!

A great place to visit whether you're looking for somewhere to have an afternoon walk or use as a picnic area. It is very hard to tell that the area is man-made which is perhaps not too surprising given the age of the nature reserve. Parking is plentiful and charged reasonably well.
