My first sun-bed experience with Bliss I had no idea what to expect really cos Id never done this before so I was abit nervous and walking in to the salon I was hoping for a friendly smile from the receptionist to reassure me, but to my surprise She was on her phone when I walked in and barely looked up at me, when she did her face was expressionless. She was the only member of staff present. I explained I wanted to use a sun-bed but had never used one before. I was hoping for advise as I wanted 6 mins but didnt know if that was too long for my first time. However, she said without giving me anything that 6 mins should be okay. I proceeded to get my card out to pay but she looked up from her phone and went oh we dont take cards.. I was annoyed because who doesnt take cards now a days, Im mean its a salon! So I had to go find a cash point and get some cash out. I returned to the salon to see the receptionist doing her nails with the nail varnish on the nail desk. She got up and accepted my cash. I was expecting her to give me a form or something to fill out, but nope, nothing. She then led me to the sunbed room. She said the sunbed hasnt been used today so she was going to put it on for an extra few minutes to warm it up, then she left the room. I got undressed and watched the bed heat up and just as I was about to get on I realised I should have those special goggle things to protect my eyes... I was basically naked so I had to wrap my coat round me and open the door calling down the corridor too the receptionist (who was still painting her nails) asking where the goggles were.. she mumbled that they were in a pot on the side, her tone as if I should have known that.There was what looked like a bog roll tin on this table in the corner, I opened it and inside were some individual goggles just floating in the blue liquid... I saw that on of my minutes was already almost up so I hurriedly pulled out 2 goggles and rushed to lay on the bed pulling the lid down over me. It wasnt as hot as I thought it would be, and Im guessing thats because it wasnt properly warmed up. I laid there for my remaining minutes, annoyed because the girl on the desk was so un-interested and so clearly didnt care, her incompetence with not telling me where the goggles were wasted one of my minutes and if she had been doing her job properly I would have really enjoyed it. The bed only started really heating up on my last few minutes. When my session had finished, I got up and dressed again and walked back to reception where the girl was still painting her nails. Again, she barely looked up at me when i passed, I said thank you and walked out the door. I was really shocked by her rude uninterested manner and would strongly advise anyone whos interested in using this salon to look else where.
Absolutely amazing! Natasha did my cluster eyelashes and tinted/waxed my eyebrows perfectly- best I have ever had done! 10/10 xx
I've not had the confidence to go to a salon and get treatments done for a very long time. As the ones I'd been to in the past always made me feel uncomfortable. The girls in this salon are friendly and great at what they do! Won't go anywhere else now.. I've found my beauty godmothers!
